This inside mounted, capacitive tank level rod sensor is made of PVC and contains no moving parts. It is excellent for monitoring fresh or waste water tanks whose depths do not exceed 36". Model CR24 is 24" in length and Model CR36 is 36" in length. Both can be cut to length by the user if necessary. Complete cutting instructions are provided.
The sensor installs through a 1" NPT (Natl. Pipe Thread) hole through the top of the tank and is intended for monitoring fluid levels in metal-walled tanks. Additionally, since it has no moving parts to foul, it is also a superior alternative to traditional float sensors used to monitor tank levels in waste tanks. Unit contains a power-on light to indicate unit is being properly powered.
If your tank has an SAE-5 hole sensor pattern, an adapter is available to convert to our 1" NPT adapter.
For boaters without access to the top of their tank this tank level sensor can be ordered with a 90 degree bend to mount through a hole in the side wall of the tank. This version uses the SAE to NPT adapter and requires the SAE-5 hole sensor mounting pattern to be present on the tank.
