ProMariner battery isolators are rated for 70 amps maximum alternator output. They operate on 6/12/24/36 volt negative ground systems. Electrical current is able to flow from DC source to batteries in one direction only. This allows one or two devices (depending on model) to charge multiple battery banks without the banks being connected. Voltage drop in the circuit is 0.6 volts.
